We’re proud to share an important milestone in the continued growth of The Link Companies — one rooted in relationships, shared values, and a long-term commitment to independent retail.

The Link Companies has acquired Next Gen Dallas, a respected sales agency serving the Central U.S. gift, home, and lifestyle marketplace.

While the announcement is new, the partnership is not. Our teams have worked alongside one another for many years, building trust through shared brands, aligned cultures, and a belief that meaningful sales begin with strong relationships on the road.

This acquisition formalizes that long-standing connection and allows us to better serve retailers and vendor partners through expanded coverage and greater consistency.

With Next Gen Dallas joining The Link Companies, our sales representation now extends into Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas — growing our national footprint from 36 to 42 states. This expansion strengthens local market support while maintaining the personal, relationship-driven approach that defines how we work.

Next Gen Dallas will continue to operate under its established name and leadership, with Kim Pounds remaining President. Her leadership, values, and commitment to service are a natural fit within The Link Companies family.

As Fred Rosenkampff, CFO of The Link Companies, shared:

“This partnership reflects a shared commitment to people, relationships, and long-term service to the marketplace. As a 100% employee-owned company, we are built to think beyond short-term cycles and to invest in stability—for our people, our vendors, and our retailers. Kim and her team share that mindset, which makes this a natural fit.”

At the heart of this partnership is a shared belief in the power of road-based sales. With the addition of the Next Gen Dallas team, The Link Companies now includes 125 sales professionals supporting retailers locally throughout our regions, along with 13 Key Sales representatives dedicated to national and key retail accounts.

That alignment is mutual. Kim Pounds, President of Next Gen Dallas, added:

“Joining The Link Companies allows us to expand our resources while preserving the independence, culture, and relationships that define Next Gen Dallas. Their employee-owned structure aligns closely with our long-term view of serving retailers and vendor partners with consistency and care.”

Next Gen Dallas becomes the tenth agency operating under The Link Companies umbrella, alongside The Southern Link, Link 2 Sales, The Mid-Atlantic Link, The Northern Link, The Central Link, Rocky Mountain Link, Salesmark, Total Accessories, and Key Sales. Each agency maintains its own leadership and regional focus while benefiting from shared governance, resources, and a culture shaped by employee ownership.

That culture has guided The Link Companies since 1985. Over the decades, our growth has been intentional — shaped by partnerships built on trust, shared purpose, and a belief in doing business the right way. As we look toward 2026 and beyond, welcoming Next Gen Dallas into our family reflects the same principles that have defined our journey from the beginning.

We are grateful to our retailers, vendor partners, and team members who make this work meaningful. This partnership represents continuity, stability, and a shared commitment to serving the independent retail community with care.

We look forward to the road ahead — together.
